Description
Our rugged compass is a good solid compass with luminous points! This compass will last a lifetime.
Every Explorer should know where North is and how to find their way back home.
Packed in a sturdy metal case and with luminous points that glow in the dark, it’s army issue, so it’s tough and made to withstand many an adventure.
Reading a compass should be one of those basic life skills. Get them started, by hiding treasure in the garden and giving them the coordinates, to take them to it.
10 steps North from the back door, 32 steps West and so on – obviously you can make this as long or as short an exercise as you like, depending on how much peace and quiet you need!
As they get older the adventures get bigger – currently a friends 12 year old son is begging her to drop him and a couple of friends off in the middle of nowhere, armed only with a compass.
The challenge?
To find their way back home alone… not quite sure what to think of this next possible adventure yet but will keep you updated!
